An user definable hotkey would be more appropriate to eliminate potential conflicts – could be F12 by default.

I also made some minor changes to qtwebkit which enabled “apple-dashboard” support. i guess i’ll have to post it in the svn as well.

I love the fact that someone came up with this! This is awesome!

However, I tried the mybillq widget (http://www.mybillq.com), and although it loads, it never successfully logs into the website.

Keep up the good work! I know this will get better as time goes on.

Also, if at all possible, please try to add F12 as a hotkey for showing and hiding widgets, like on the Mac, even with the screen dimming and animation as the widgets zoom in.
